Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says the cost of hosting the Commonwealth Games in 2026 is likely to almost triple from the allocated $2.6 billion to around $6 billion. Commonwealth Games Australia CEO Craig Phillips says those figures are a gross exaggeration.
