When a supercar carries this label, automotive connoisseurs know that it represents a particularly exclusive high-performance pickup based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63.
In the new BRABUS XLP 900 6x6 SUPERBLACK, BRABUS now presents an exclusive all-terrain vehicle the world has never seen before.
The BRABUS XLP 900 6x6 SUPERBLACK is based on the current G-Class and mesmerizes with its pickup bed behind the cab. What is more: As the 6x6 model designation indicates, the new supercar has an additional rear axle and thus runs on six wheels. Obviously, with all-wheel drive!
The BRABUS 6x6 supercar is 6.18 meters (243.3 in) long and 2.09 meters (82.3 in) wide. It is powered by a very special power plant that can be seen through the transparent pane of the BRABUS “Powerview” hood cowl: The BRABUS ROCKET 900 V8 twin-turbo engine with a displacement of 4.5 liters (269 cu in). In addition to many other features, this engine is fitted with two special high-performance turbochargers. It produces an output of 662 kW / 900 hp (888 bhp) and 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft) peak torque, which is electronically limited to 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) in the vehicle.
In concert with the nine-speed transmission and six-wheel drive, this engine slings the BRABUS XLP 900 6x6 SUPERBLACK from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.2 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 210 km/h (130 mph).
However, the new BRABUS high-performance pickup impresses not only with its tremendously powerful engine, but also with its exceptional qualities when operating far off paved roads.
