The Kajang Women’s Prison will be the first prison in the country to implement the Wanita Bangkit Bersasar programme which aims to help female prisoners to lead a better life after being released from prison.

During her visit to the prison on Thursday, Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said the ministry and Prisons Department would introduce a mechanism for the programme.
