Russia is investigating the role of Western intelligence agencies in the Wagner mutiny that erupted before ending abruptly on June 24. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told RT News that the investigation was underway since Belarus struck a peace deal with Wagner PMC chief Yevgeny Prigozhin. This comes despite President Joe Biden reiterating that the U.S. and the allies had no role in the coup bid. The White House also admitted that it was in touch with Russian officials "real time" when the rebellion was taking place.
