The International Canoe Federation Dragon Boat World Cup has brought hundreds of participants from other parts of the world to Zigui county in China.

The county is the birthplace of ancient Chinese poet and patriot Qu Yuan who is anonymous with the Duanwu Jie (Dragon Boat Festival) celebrated by Chinese around the world.
