Independent Senator Jacqui Lambie has asked the International criminal court to investigate Australian Defence Force bosses over alleged war crimes. Senator Lambie has long criticised the landmark Brereton inquiry into allegations of serious misconduct by Australian special forces in Afghanistan. She has told the Senate, senior commanders got a free pass during the probe, with their level of knowledge not scrutinised by Major General Paul Brereton.
