A surfer was left stunned in awe as he turned around after leaving the water to witness a huge pod of dolphins playfully jumping in the waves again and again. Off the coast of Hatteras, North Carolina, Brian McArthur’s footage shows the pod repeatedly springing out of the waves - a phenomenon he and locals said they had never seen before. Brian’s footage of the amazing moment was crystal clear, as the dolphins leaped extremely close to the shoreline leaving the onlookers amazed. The moment took place on June 28, and Brian said the mammals were leaping for a good 45 seconds in total. Brian said he’d seen pods jump two or three times before, but never like this, so showed others on the island, some who have run fishing businesses there since the 30s, who said they too had never seen anything like it.
