When launching the Matrade commerce platform in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday (June 13), Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz said chip maker Texas Instruments had plans to expand operations in Kuala Lumpur and Melaka in the next two years with an estimated investment of RM14.6bil.
He said the ministry is striving for high technology and higher quality investments as it would help the nation achieve its goal of becoming a high income nation.
