At least 140 sophisticated weapons that were stolen from armouries of different forces stationed in Manipur or snatched from security personnel by miscreants were returned, the Manipur Police informed on Friday. This comes after Union home minister Amit Shah on Thursday warned the miscreants and asked them to hand over their weapons to police as “combing operation will begin from tomorrow, forcing officers to take strict action".
