Birmingham headlines 26 May: Teenager jailed for city centre stabbing
A teenager was jailed after admitting to stabbing two boys in an unprovoked attack in Birmingham city centre last year. He was sentenced to four years and two months at Birmingham Crown Court on May 12 after pleading guilty to wounding, attempt robbery and knife possession.

Commuters at New Street Station faced delays exiting the station Thursday morning as West Midlands Police conducted an operation. The force had erected a knife arch at the entrance with several officers aligning the route out of the station. Walking through the gateways was not compulsory.

The opening date for Birmingham's new Indian street food & craft beer specialists Bundobust has been confirmed. It will be the fifth UK venue for the vegetarian and vegan Gujarati street food company. It is set to open it's doors on Friday 2nd June.
