Nine arrests have been made for drug supply offences after a major County Lines operation in the West Midlands. Over 200 police officers were deployed to ensure the properties were targeted simultaneously, after months of investigation and intelligence gathering.

A burglar who targeted five Birmingham premises in two weeks has been jailed for more than five years. Barrie King even struck three times in one day in Acocks Green last September. He admitted to a list of offences and was jailed for five years and four months at Birmingham Crown Court.

Two teenagers have been found guilty of Ronan Kanda's murder in Wolverhampton last June. The 16 year old was stabbed from behind in in a tragic case of mistaken identity. The Jury took just over two hours to find the pair guilty. They will be sentenced in July.
