Edinburgh resident 'tortured' by noise from late night roadworks

Edinburgh locals were kept awake past midnight by resurfacing works on Holyrood Road. One resident, Jim Slaven, said he was “tortured” by the noise, while another said: “I’m wide awake listening to it”.
