डेंगू बुखार एडीज मच्छरों के काटने से होता है। एक आंकड़े में कहा गया है कि हर साल दुनियाभर में लगभग 400 मिलियन लोग डेंगू संक्रमण से पीड़ित होते हैं। डेंगू मच्छरों के काटने से आपके शरीर में संक्रमण फैलता है और 2 से 3 दिन के भीतर मरीज को बुखार आने लगता है। हेल्थ एक्सपर्ट के अनुसार डेंगू फैलाने वाले एडीजी मच्छर ज्यादातर सुबह और शाम के समय लोगों को काटते हैं। लेकिन ऐसा नहीं कि ये मच्छर सिर्फ दिन के समय में ही आपको काट सकते हैं। ये मच्छर रात और शाम के समय में भी काट सकते हैं। अगर आपके कमरे या घर में रोशनी ज्यादा है तो रात के समय में भी ये मच्छर काटने लगते हैं।
