The Tasmanian Government has been thrown into turmoil with the surprise defection of two backbench MPs. Lara Alexander and John Tucker have quit the party demanding more transparency over a new Hobart stadium, and the Marinus Link project. The loss of their support leaves Jeremy Rockliff to govern in minority.
