The Coalition will try to amend legislation to allow people receiving JobSeeker to work more hours before their payments are reduced, arguing it would help more unemployed people get into work. Opposition leader Peter Dutton has backed a number of the government's cost of living measures, while criticising the forecast increase in migration.
