A 62-year-old woman says you can “really enjoy” sex in later life and says intimacy in her 40s was the “best time”.

Suzanne Noble, 62, claims her 40s were the time where she had the “most fun” with experimenting in the bedroom - claiming she was “horny all the time”.

Singer Christina Aguilera, 42, recently spoke out about how her orgasms have changed in her 40s and how she now priorities her sex life.

Since going through the menopause, Suzanne had to “re-engage” with sex and get her “sexy self back”.

She joined dating apps in 2018 and met her now-partner, Peter Marriot, 62, a co-host of their podcast, in February 2022 on Facebook.

The pair talk openly about sex in later life and have an open relationship - where they act like "friends with benefits".

They now share their thoughts on their podcast 'Sex Advice for Seniors'.

Suzanne, co-host of the podcast, from Kilburn, North London, said: “I’m lucky I have a libido.

“I still really enjoy sex.

“You can meet someone at any age.

“I’ve learnt how many men in their 30s want to be with a 60-year-old woman.

“For me, my 40s – it was the best time. I was divorced and single.

“I was having a huge amount of fun.

“My libido was through the roof.

“I was horny all the time.

“At 50, the fun was over. In my 60s, it’s somewhere in between there.

“I’m not on high alert anymore but I’m now able to have that experience behind me.”

Suzanne said her 40s were the time she had the “most fun” in her sex life.

She said: “I was on high alert for having sex.”

She was often having sex daily or weekly, but things changed when she went through the menopause at 50.

Suzanne said: “I was going out with a much younger man. He was 33, I was 50.

“At that point I was still feeling sexy.

“As our relationship progressed, I started going through the menopause.

“I was getting hot flushes. My libido not what it had been.

“I said to him - 'I don’t think it’s fair to put you through this.'”

For the next few years Suzanne “grieved” her old self.

She said: “I missed the sexy me. I missed having sex.

“I was the person who used to walk into a room and felt noticed, attractive to people.

“Some people love feeling invisible and love not having the attention.

“I don’t feel that way.”

Suzanne downloaded Tinder in 2018 and met her late partner, Bob, 64, and began to feel sexy again.

She said: “We went through the pandemic together.

“I got my sexy-self back and reengaged with sex.

“He sadly passed away.”

After splitting up in November 2021 Suzanne lost Bob to bowel cancer in June 2022.

She put a post on Facebook on Valentine's Day 2022 to say she was single.

Peter - who had been chatting to Suzanne on Facebook previously - reached out to ask her on a date and the pair hit it off from there.

Suzanne said: “We started sleeping together - having fun.

“We talked about having an open relationship.

“We spoke openly about sex in later life.

“I know how I like it and don’t like it.

“As an older woman aspects of how you have sex change.

“I’m really comfortable using lubricants.
