UN Chief Guterres pays tribute to journalists on World Press Freedom Day

'Stop the threats and attacks. Stop detaining and imprisoning journalists for doing their jobs. Stop the lies and disinformation. Stop targeting truth and truth-tellers,' says UN Chief Antonio Guterres in a pre-recorded video message as Unesco hosts the 30th anniversary of World Press Freedom Day at the United Nations in New York. 'As journalists stand up for truth, the world stands with them,' the UN Secretary-General added.
