Reacting to Mallikarjun Kharge’s remark of ‘poisonous snake’, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on April 29 said that Congress has become a poison pot after it lost its power and hence making such statements in anxiousness.

He said, “PM Modi gave a new birth to India. A new and progressive India is being developed by PM Narendra Modi. Congress has become a poison pot and is spitting poison against PM Modi. They referred to the PM as ‘Maut Ka Saudagar’, someone even said ‘all Modis are thieves’ and also PM was referred to as a ‘snake’.”

“Congress is distressed after losing power. Hence, their pain has turned into anxiety which is making them give such statements. However, despite all this, PM Modi is working towards the development of the country and its people,” he added.”
