Weeks after conducting surveys at the offices of BBC in Delhi and Mumbai, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a case against the British national broadcaster under Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) for irregularities in foreign funding. Surveys were conducted by the law enforcement agency days after BBC triggered a row by airing a controversial documentary on PM Modi.
