The payment of “diyah” (blood money) to families of murdered victims would be looked into, said Ramkarpal Singh.

The Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Law and Institutional Reform) told Dewan Rakyat that on Monday (April 3) in response to a suggestion from Abdul Latiff Bin Abdul Rahman (PN-Kuala Krai) that diyah should be included as an alternative form of punishment.
