Welsh Water released sewage into rivers, lakes and the sea around Wales for over 600 thousand hours last year, according to recent data. Campaigners have argued this is damaging to wildlife, and animal and human health, but is not technically illegal. Welsh water say they are investing in areas most impacted by the issue.

A video of Cardiff City striker Connor Wickham was posted to his instagram where he looked to be taking nitrous oxide. The video shows the 30 year old inhaling on a balloon a few hours after his side’s 3-2 loss to Swansea city. Cardiff City is looking into the incident.

A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital on Sunday after a serious crash with a car on Ruabon Road in. Wrexham, while a second driver left the scene. Sgt Jason Diamond said neither rider were wearing helmets or motorcycling clothing, and the police are appealing for witnesses.
