A new study is challenging the extinction date of the Tasmanian Tiger, suggesting the predator could have survived well into the 1980s or even 2000s. Physical proof of the Thylacine dried up in the 1930s, but analysis of decades of reported sightings indicates some animals may have lived much longer.
