After attending a Ramadan event in Gombak on Thursday night, Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi told reporters that he had decided to appoint those who had lost in the recent party elections to certain positions in the party as part of an effort to strengthen the party.

He told them that no one won all and no one lost all as he wanted everyone to close ranks for the sake of the party’s resurgence.
