Doctors worked through a 6.5 magnitude earthquake to deliver a baby via caesarean.

The power cut in and out at the Sub District Hospital in Bijbehara, India, and a video shows the lights off, and the building shaking.

But doctors worked - using the light from a computer monitor - while reciting prayers.

Amazingly despite the conditions, they were able to successfully deliver the baby on March 21.

Thankfully power was quickly restored to the hospital. Some 13 people died due to the earthquake.

A source said: "Visuals captured the moment when the tremors were felt during the lower-segment caesarean section surgery and in a matter of seconds, the power too went off.

"However, the doctors held their nerve and continued to work, as well as recite prayers, even in the darkness, with the sole light source being a monitor. The electricity returned soon."

Reports claim tremors hit 6.5 on the Richter scale, and were felt as far as New Delhi and in both Pakistan and Afghanistan.
