Reduced allocations make my stress level go up, says Jelebu MP

An MP says that his stress level goes up when he returns to his constituency because allocations from Putrajaya have been slashed.

Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias (BN-Jelebu) told Parliament on Tuesday (March 21) that, adding that in some cases, state assemblymen were able to distribute more aid to the needy compared to MPs.

Meanwhile, Jalaluddin said that the Speaker presiding over any sessions should be stern and issue rulings against MPs who interrupt other MPs, citing an earlier incident when Mohd Sany Hamzan (PH-Hulu Langat) was heckled by other MPs when giving a speech with Deputy Speaker Alice Lau presiding over the sitting.
