The oldest pearling town in the Arabian Gulf, which was unearthed, indicated a 1,300-year-old colony with hundreds of houses and several thousand people.



The discovery at Al Sinniyah Island, off the coast of Umm Al Quwain, revealed the thriving pearl traders settlements by the people who were settled here. This island reflects the history, civilization, and ecology of the emirate.
