The USS America (LHA-6) docks in Manila on Sunday, Mar. 19.

The LHA-6 is an amphibious ship of the United States Navy's amphibious-ready group that transports a portion of a marine expeditionary unit ashore using helicopters and V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft.

Meanwhile, the F-35B Lightning II aircraft and helicopter gunship are on standby.
