A 7-year-old boy who fell into a borewell in Madhya Pradesh and was rescued nearly 24 hours later, has died. Reportedly, doctors declared him dead after examination. On March 14, the boy fell into the 60-foot-deep borewell around 11 am, reported PTI. For the rescue operations, a parallel pit was dug with the help of JCB machines (earthmovers). 7-year-old Lokesh Ahirwar, was playing when he slipped and fell into the borewell. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) were also called in to help with the rescue operations. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced an assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the kin of the boy, reported PTI. Watch the video to know more.
