Robots, Artificial Intelligence and other forms of automation are posing a threat to traditional business and their employees, according to the chairman of one of the Parliament's Joint Select Committees.

But the chairman says an antidote can be found in doing something meaningful to help with sustainable small and micro business activity.

The issue was raised during the committee's examination of the State-owned Export Centres Company on Monday.
