Indian Air Force deploys MI 17 chopper to fight forest fire in Goa

Indian Air Force on March 11 deployed one MI 17 helicopter for fighting raging forest fires in Goa, using Bambi Buckets. The IAF dispensed over 25000 litres of water over the affected areas. Thus far, 47000 litres of water has been dispensed by the IAF to douse the flames.
