President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Monday acknowledged the importance of micro, small, medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country’s economic growth as he said its role is “crucial” in the creation of “new ideas, jobs, and wealth.”

During the signing of a program that aims to promote inclusive economic growth by providing MSMEs access to money, markets, and mentoring, Marcos said it is just right to recognize the power and influence that the sector holds.
