Former 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) CEO Arul Kanda Kandasamy who was acquitted and discharged by the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Friday (March 3) in the 1MDB audit tampering trial said he was relieved by the acquittal.

Arul Kanda told the media outside the court that throughout the trial, he was honest and straightforward.
