The Appeal Court has today dismissed the challenge against extending the life of the Councils of all the Municipal Corporations in Trinidad.

The challenge was filed by, UNC activist Ravi Balgohin Maharaj's legal team.

The Local Government Minister made the announcement in Parliament on Friday.

Balgobin, says he plans to take the matter all the way to the Privy Council.
