A suspected gas explosion at a house in Merthyr Tydfil has left 5 people in hospital. 2 teenagers had non-life threatening serious injuries, which has meant neighbours were evacuated from their homes, as an investigation takes place into the cause of the problem.

Plaid Cymru have suggested people pay more income tax to help the NHS through an ‘unprecedented crisis’. Plaid suggested a 1p increase on earnings over £12,500, 2p over 50 thousand and 3p over £150 thousand. Labour has rejected the calls, saying people are already struggling enough.

Senior Pembrokeshire councillor Alec Cormack has been accused of a data breach after creating an online poll which could have led to members votes being tracked. A number of members refused to vote on the issue, which were for plans for future budget cuts.
