Comfort Women Lolas with Lila Pilipina-Gabriela and the support group Flowers for Lolas Campaign and Salinlahi held a walk of peace as they rang bells in front of the Japanese Embassy for peace and justice in Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City, on January 31, 2023. The group urges Japan, on the occasion of the Fourth Cycle of the United Nations Universal Periodic Review of Human Rights, to take necessary steps toward a fair and long overdue resolution of the "comfort women '' issue, where women were allegedly abused by the Japanese during World War II.
