On January 29, Naba Kishore Das, Odisha’s Health Minister, was shot by an assistant sub-inspector. The tragedy took place at Gandhi Chowk in Jharsuguda around 1 pm. Reportedly, 60-year-old Das was on his way to attend an event when he was shot in the chest. The assistant sub-inspector shot two rounds at the minister. Das was rushed to the hospital. Das succumbed to his injuries at the Apollo Hospital in Bhubaneswar. Naveen Patnaik, Odisha Chief Minister, condemned the attack. Watch the video to know more.
