A 50 year old man arrested in relation to the murder of a drag queen in Cardiff has been bailed pending further enquiries. Vigils have been held for Moore, who has previously been jailed for raping a boy under 16.

Recent UK Government data has shown that no new police officers have been recruited in Wales in the last two months, despite over a thousand being recruited in England. The UK government set targets of 20,000 new officers by march 2023.

Caerphilly Borough Councillors have questioned a 7.9% increase to council tax laid out in a new draft budget. Independents, as well as councillors from Plaid Cymru and Labour have all criticised the plan, saying the council needs to get it priorities right.
