माघ मास में कई विशेष व्रत-उपवास किए जाते हैं। अचला सप्तमी भी इनमें से एक है। ये पर्व गुप्त नवरात्रि के दौरान माघ शुक्ल सप्तमी तिथि पर किया मनाया जाता है। इस बार ये व्रत 28 जनवरी, शनिवार को है। इस व्रत की विधि और महत्व के बारे में स्वयं भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने युधिष्ठिर को बताया था। इस व्रत को करने से घर-परिवार में हमेशा खुशियां बनी रहती हैं और हर संकट का निवारण अपने आप हो जाता है।

Many special fasts are observed in the month of Magh. Achala Saptami is also one of them. This festival is celebrated on Magh Shukla Saptami Tithi during Gupta Navratri. This time this fast is on 28th January, Saturday. Lord Krishna himself had told Yudhishthira about the method and importance of this fast.
