Anti-government demonstrations continue and repression intensifies in the streets of Peru. The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, Amnesty International and Transparency issued a statement following the incursion of numerous National Police agents into the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, where hundreds of demonstrators from different regions had been camping for several days to participate in anti-government protests.
