Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao announced that the cryptocurrency exchange would undergo a hiring spree in 2023 that will increase staff by 15-30 percent. The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange said it increased its workforce in 2022 from 3,000 people to nearly 8,000. While competitors such as Kraken and Coinbase ($COION@US) have laid off workers amid crypto’s downturn and FTX collapsed, Zhao stated that Binance is not “well-organized” and needs to “ramp up again before the next bull market.”
