Launching a scathing attack on the Modi government, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat dubbed the BJP as the party with a policy to "scare youth, farmers, and labourers".

“We thought to raise the question at the Parliament. We tried to raise questions against demonetisation, wrong GST. But they switched off our mikes. Since they switched off our mikes, we thought to do ‘Yatra’ and interact with the people. We thought of interacting with the people at the ‘Yatra’. BJP’s policy is to scare youth, farmers, and labourers. Demonetisation, Covid-19 handling, GST, everything was to scare farmers and youth,” Rahul said.
