In a never seen before political drama in the Congress for over a century, Republican leader Kevin McCarthy repeatedly failed in his bid to be elected Speaker of the US House of Representatives. For the first time since 1923, the House was adjourned without a speaker on Tuesday night as they failed to choose a leader after the first round of votes.
