Border Roads Organisation(BRO) launched a massive snow clearance operation on Srinagar-Leh Highway on December 30. The snow clearance operation was launched under project Beacon. The clearance work was launched after the area received the season’s first snowfall, due to which the Srinagar-Leh highway was closed.
