As Congress has cemented its lead in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly poll results, Congress leader Pawan Khera on December 08 claimed that Congress will give a stable government in the Himachal.

“No neck-to-neck fight, we're heading towards an absolute majority and going to give a stable government. No Operation Keechad will work and neither will we allow it,” said Pawan Khera.

The party is leading on 35 seats in Himachal Pradesh which is the majority mark.
