While voting, one question that often arises in the mind of the voter is that how safe will his vote be and will not someone else cast a fake vote in his name. To confirm this doubt, the election officials put blue ink on the finger of the voter along with voting. The credit for including this blue colored ink in Indian elections goes to Sukumar Sen, the country's first Chief Election Commissioner.
