Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar is remembered for his contributions to the country. Dr Ambedkar was the chairman of the committee which drafted the Constitution of the country. Dr Ambedkar is known as the Father of the Indian Constitution. In 1990, he was honoured with India's highest civilian honour, Bharat Ratna. Dr BR Ambedkar died on December 6, 1956.
