First phase voting ended. Fate of 788 candidates contesting from 89 constituencies across Saurashtra, Kutch and South Gujarat is now sealed in the EVM. According to the election commission data till 5 PM, 56.88% voter turnout was recorded. The highest voter turnout was recorded in Tapi at 72. 32% whereas lowest turnout was recorded in Amreli at 52.73%.
