Tensions have been flaring up along the Assam-Meghalaya border since yesterday. 6 people, including a forest guard, were killed in a clash after police intercepted a truck in West Karbi Anglong that was allegedly smuggling timber. Following the clash, Meghalaya has suspended internet services in seven districts of the state for 48 hours and Assam has also placed various sorts of restrictions. But what is the reason?
