उम्र बढ़ने के साथ झुर्रियां आना एक अनिवार्य प्रक्रिया है। जैसे-जैसे उम्र बढ़ती जाती है त्‍वचा में धीरे-धीरे बदलाव आने लगते हैं। खासकर आंखों के आसपास के क्षेत्र में 40 की उम्र के बाद बारीक झुर्रियां दिखाई देने लगती हैं। मैक्स सुपर स्पेशलिटी हॉस्पिटल पटपड़गंज के एसथेटिक एंड रिकंस्ट्रक्टिव सर्जरी विभाग के सीनियर डायरेक्टर डॉ. मनोज जौहर बताते हैं कि इन बारीक लाइनों को क्रो फीट कहा जाता है क्योंकि ये कुछ-कुछ कौऐ के पैर के जैसे दिखते हैं । इन छोटी झुर्रियों को ‘स्माइल लाइन्स’ के रूप में भी जाना जाता है क्‍योंकि ये रेखाएं मुस्‍कुराते समय ज्यादा साफ नजर आती हैं।

Wrinkles are an inevitable process of aging. As the age increases, there are gradual changes in the skin. Especially in the area around the eyes, fine wrinkles start appearing after the age of 40. These small wrinkles are also known as 'smile lines' because these lines are more visible when smiling.
