The Malaysian government said it hoped that the verdict of the Dutch court on the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 on Thursday will give some relief and peace to the families and next of kin of the 298 victims.

Caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob on Friday said the government supports the decision of the court and was satisfied with the long-awaited justice.
